Meet our director, Traci Butts, QIDP

With nearly two decades of experience, Traci assists individuals with disabilities and their families in navigating complex support systems with clarity and confidence. For over 18 years, she has worked as a dedicated Support Coordinator, guiding individuals through programs and services, and providing resources that help people with disabilities live more independent and stable lives. 


She brings extensive experience working with the Division of Services for People with Disabilities, on the Home and Community Based Waiver, along with a strong background in housing and the mental health field. Her expertise includes providing comprehensive support to help families understand and access essential systems such as Medicaid, Dept of Workforce Services (DWFS), Division of Child and Family Services (DCFS), Social Security, Vocational Rehabilitation, and all waiver-funded supports and services. 

Traci holds a Bachelor's degree in Health and Human Services. She is a certified QIDP (Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional), combining professional training with hands-on experience across a wide range of disability services. She serves individuals and families throughout Salt Lake County, Davis and Weber Counties, Tooele County, and Utah County. 

Known for her passion, practical guidance, and deep understanding of the system, Traci helps individuals and families learn what service and support options are available so they can make the best-informed decision to ensure people live self-directed lives with a focus on health and safety at home and in their community.
